A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 14, at Lakeview Memorial Park . Mr. Thore was born March 28, 1925, in Guilford County, to the late Charlie and Cora Lee Mabe Thore. He was retired from Cone Mills and was a loving husband and brother. Mr. Thore is predeceased by his wife, Dennie Thore; a sister, Yvonne Thore and four brothers, Clarence Thore, William Thore, Ruben Thore and George Thore. He is survived by two sisters, Mable Patterson and Bettie Thornton and husband, Eugene; one brother, Ralph Thore and wife, Annie and a sister-in-law, Marietta Thore. The family will receive friends following the service at the Lakeview Memorial Park Parlor. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27408 or to a charity of ones choice.
