Thought it would help. The news was released at the first of the week. PEDIGREE RESOURCE FILE DATABASE RELEASED See http://www.desnews.com/cgi-bin/libstory_reg?dn99&9911150026 Link The LDS Church has announced a new 5-CD set of information that provides even more help to genealogists. The "Pedigree Resource File" contains the personal family history records submitted through the "Preserve" function of the popular FamilySearch Internet Genealogy Service. The important difference between this information and previous compilations is that the information includes the submitter's name and research notes, and no attempt is made to combine submissions from different people. A user of this product will be able to see the information compiled by others, be able to note and resolve discrepancies, and contact the submitters. ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it. 1. [NCGUILFO] William & John BEARD
2. Tim Walls
3. Randolph, Guilford Co. LISTs: I found references to the Beard Family of Guilford County, NC in connection with my WALL line. . John Beard is listed on the 1790 Census of Randolph County, NC so he must be a resident of this county. He had 2 males under 16, 3 males of 16 and over, 3 females, and no other persons in the household. This fits John Beard & wife Margaret. John BEARD, b. abt 1749, Londonderry, England (North Ireland) died in Randolph Co., NC and was married about 1767. Children included William BEARD, born 27 Apr 1792; probably John BEARD's brother or father was the William BEARD referenced above. The younger William BEARD died 11 Jun 1870 in Raleigh, Rush County, IN - a big tipoff that he was Quaker. Rush County was directly south of Henry County, IN - I wonder if Wiley WALL and Jereter knew him? William's brother Patrick BEARD died 12 March 1831 in Centerville, Wayne Co. IN. His daughter, Martha BEARD, b. 1798, married Nathan COMMONS on 25 Oct 1819 in Richmond, Wayne Co., IN. Martha would be close to Wiley and Jereter in age. There were a lot of BEARDs in Rush Co., IN and other Indiana counties. Where was William BEARD's land on Deep River located? Does anyone have a record of this land? Thanks, Tim - researching WALL (Wiley, Samuel, John, Thomas, many others) HALEY (John), BUFFINGTON (Phebe), BEARD (William, John) and VICKERY (Absalom, Cassander/Kessandria, Christopher, many others)

1. [NCGUILFO] Chester County, PA
2. Tim Walls
3. I obtained a topographical map of Pennsylvania. I was able to determine that all the locations associated with possible ancestor John WALL and his wife Phebe BUFFINGTON (daughter of Phebe GRUBB and Richard BUFFINGTON) were located as follows: 1. The first and earliest North Carolinian New Garden MM, Guilford County, NC Quaker record, an 1766 membership transferral reference from Concord MM, was located in Chester County, Concord Township, at the eastern part of Chester County, PA. 2. The second reference, to a marriage dated 1740 at Bradford MM, Pa, was located in either East Bradford or West Bradford Townships, in the central part of Chester County, PA. 3. The latest Quaker record reference, a Deep River MM, Guilford County, NC record dated 1786, transferring membership TO Sadsbury MM, PA was to either Sadsbury Township, Chester County, PA or just over the county line in Lancaster Co. PA. Currently, the place lies in Lancaster County, PA near the town of Gap. Does anyone know if John WALL and Phebe BUFFINGTON died in or near Sadsbury Township, PA, and left wills? Tim

How is this bondsman related to Nancy Weatherly, Old Christopher VICKERY's 3rd wife, who is shown with him in the 1840 Census in Randolph County, NC and who is the immediate neighbors of mysterious Thomas WALL and family?

3. Guilford Co. Brick Church records show a George Newton CLAPP baptised 2 Apr 1843 born to Abraham CLAPP and wife Elizabeth. Abraham CLAPP born 28 Aug 1808 in Guilford Co. He married Elizabeth CLAPP 24 May 1827. Could this be the one? He is buried at Brick Church, but did he ever go to Ohio?
