With Christmas almost forgot this. Just before Christmas, did some work in the Craven deed microfilm and think I discovered where those records came from on that roll of microfilm Steve has for Craven Co. Only reason I caught it is because worked in his book the day before on the Taylor family and started to see duplications. There are several books that LDS went in and typed up at some point and they made NUMEROUS errors in the typing. I asked the Clerk in New Bern where the original books were and she did not know. THe roll of microfilm Steve has appears to be the missing original books - at least partially. Know that Book 11 was typed and have some notes somewhere as to what other books were typed. According to my notes, Book 8 was typed and it is loaded with estates and wills. Lost all my notes from Books 12 - 17 when went from a word processor to the computer. It has bothered me that I could not place what is on that roll because I have gone through most of the original books up to Book 33. Think the question has been answered. Martha
