    3. Ruth, Regarding the identity of Priscilla Carr's first husband, a Holliday, I might throw in one clue. The 1841 Lowndes County MS deed from Allen Carr to Priscilla Cart Holliday Jordan that referred to the 1835 Greene County legal instrument by Priscilla's father Titus Carr was for a parcel of land in Section 14, Township 17, Range 6 East. Looking at a map of land ownership in the area for 1840 indicates that a Thomas Holliday owned Section 11, to the north of and contiguous to the parcel in Section 14. I certainly couldn't say for sure that Thomas Holliday was Priscilla's first husband, but the proximity is suggestive.
