Not all of these folks do I have background on but the names in proximity certainly suggest a massive migration from the Greene/Lenoir area. I'll list some of the names with a few bracketed comments: page references refer to the pages in the manuscript census which were included in the typescript. page 213 MOSES JORDAN [1820-1865, the brother of Wm. Jordan, both brothers were from NC, but I don't yet know which county] skip 6 families WILLIAM JORDAN [d. 1865, married Priscilla Carr, daughter of Titus Carr of Greene County, NC. Priscilla was first married to an unidentified Holliday] page 214 MOSES C. WESTBROOK [1817-1848, native of Lenoir County and son of James and Margaret Westbrook, Moses C. married Julia Westbrook, presumably his cousin. Julia was a native of Lenoir Co, and the daughter of Charles Westbrook who was residing in Lowndes Co., MS in 1840.] PAGE 215 JOHN HART [I know nothing about him] PAGE 216 JOHN HOLLIDAY skip three families LEMUEL WESTBROOK [1802-1862, native of Lenoir Co., son of Charles Westbrook] skip three families, then we have the following four in sequence: ALLEN CARR THOMAS HOLLIDAY CHAS. WESTBROOKS [sic,1774-1843, native of Lenoir, son of Moses Westbrook] MOSES WESTBROOKS [1810-1854, native of Lenoir, son of Charles Westbrook (see above), Moses married Sydney Ann Carr, a native of Greene County, NC] PAGE 217 ROBERT WOOTEN JOHN R. WOOTEN [I've included these Wootens because I understand that there were a number of them in Greene and/or Lenoir Counties] skip one family MOSES F.
