Just found an obit for Sarah Randolph Fields, widow of Thomas Fields. Sarah bc 1820 - they had 4 daughters but only one married. No names. She died in 1875. I have a Thomas bc 1810 - 1820 as the son of Shadrack but no further information. Assume this is Sarah's husband. I found them in the 1850 Lenoir Census with one daughter, Elizabeth. No on the 1860 or 1870 Lenoir Census - don't know about Greene but they might have lived in Greene since Sarah was a Member of Mewborn's church. Does anyone have another candidate by the name of Thomas to be Sarah's husband? Martha
