He is listed on the 1860 Greene Co N C census with Isaac R Brand, b. 1837, brother of his wife Penny Brand, living with them. Kinchen and Penny are listed on the 1870 and 1880 Greene Co census. Do you know where they are buried? What is your line. You never mentioned who your g-father and g-mother and where they lived and are buried. Please let me know. I am not tied to this family, but have an interest in Greene Co history because I have ties to many families there through my Churchill line. Any idea where Kinchen Cobb might have been in 1850? One of his children, James W Cobb that m. Martha Jones seems to have been living in Pitt Co after 1880. Do you have confirmation?
