All of Ima's information is now on a database and there is not a Ruff among them connected to the Gray family. THe Gray family of Greene probably came out of Bertie Co and there was probably more than one line that moved to Old Dobbs because there appears to be a connected line in Lenoir without the Bibles that exist in Greene. No doubt some lines are missing in Greene, but Ima had most of them. There are several members of the Greene ROOTS list researching the Spivey, Gray, and Ruff families. You should join the list if not already a member. A lot of the Spivey information that has been bounced around on the list is earlier. Martha
