NEEDHAM JAMES WHITFIELD, son of Needham & Alice Whitefield, was born at Straban, Lenoir Co., N.C. on the 6th of November A. D. 1830 LUCY WOOTEN WHITFIELD, daughter of Jas Bryant & Sally Eliza Whitfield, was born at Cross Roads, Wayne Co., N. C. on the 10th of Feb. 1835. NEEDHAM JAMES WHITEFIELD an Lucy Wooten Whitfield were married by the Rev. Frederick Fitzgerald at Burns Place, Lenoir Co., N.C. on the 10th day of November 1857. There are children of Needham James Whitfield listed, but no brothers or siters, only the statement at the beginning who his parents were. Appears this line went to Aberdeen, Monroe County, MS.
