May each of you have a glorious day on our country's birthday and remember our ancestors and their part in the building of the country we are so fortunate to live in. Many of you live in small towns with a parade with the usual flag waving which stirs the heart but you should try being in DC on the 4th with the music and fireworks. As great as it is, I still remember the comment of my visiting nephew who was about 9 years old at the time he said this - it is great but not as good as being in good old Kinston for our Birthday.
