    3. Brenda, Thanks for the information - will add to database for circumstantial for them being brothers. Wonder if Alexander I had a Will in Greene that left some of his land in Pitt to his son Alexander. I have not seen anything either to indicate he had any land or a land patent. Don't think it would have been Coward land as they appear to be just in Craven and Greene; however, they were on the line in Craven originally where some of that land ended up in Pitt, Greene and Lenoir. I have not gone back to the DAR in the past few weeks to double check the Craven deeds for the Harpers. That is on my list of things to do - soon as things settle a little more and street closings are not on a day by day basis.
