Jean, I read your posting of Granville County names. I recently learned of my wife's descent from Priscilla Williams of Granville County, and was wondering if we might have a common interest. This is the little bit I think I know: 1. Priscilla Williams, married James Bowdoin 29 Oct 1785 in Granville Co. She may have been the daughter of: 2. Charles Williams who's will was posted in Granville County in 1819. I believe Priscilla may have had siblings named William, Leonard, Allen, Agnes (wife of Evan Ragland), Polly (wife of Samuel Craft), and Fanny. I am interested in information about both the Bowdoin/Bowden and Williams lines.
