Wilson) b. 1805-6 in Tennessee or Kentucky, m. 1828 or 1830 in Blount County, TN to Jane F. McBrayer b. 10 Mar 1805 in Shaw Creek, Buncombe, NC; d. Alabama, dau of David McBrayer and Mary Young. Elijah m. #2 Malinda who was 41 in 1880 Winston County AL census. Jane F. McBrayer's line is well documented and I have Carl McBrayer's book with over 25,000 McBrayer and related names, with Jane's line included. Elijah is thought to have two brothers - probably many more but our earlier family researchers discovered these two. John Wilson b. 1790 and Isaac Wilson b. 1795. This is the closest I can get to ancestry. Census information for Elijah: DeKalb County, Alabama 1850 and 1860; Walker County, Alabama 1880. Another researcher gives this census data for the Elijah Wilson family: 1840 and 1850 DeKalb County, Alabama 1860 and 1870 Walker County, Alabama 1880 Winston County, Alabama 1900 Indian Territory Even though several families ofElijah descendants and relatives did move to Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory (now LeFlore County, Oklahoma - I live in adjoining Latimer Co.), most of us do not believe that Elijah moved with them. Wilson b. 1842 DeKalb AL; no further information Joseph R. Wilson b. 28 Nov 1844 DeKalb AL d. 23 Sep 1867 James Thomas Wilson b. 26 May 1853 AL m. 9 Apr 1881 to Margaret Elizabeth Watts d. LeFlore County, OK bur. Hicks Chapel Cemetery, LeFlore Co., OK; Margaret bur. Lutie Cemetery Latimer Co OK.
