I have found very little information---court minutes had the appearance as Jul 1899 and the newspaper ran an advertisement on the sale of the land. His son "Snap" Bullock was the administrator of the Estate. When is the date of death for Nancy Goss? Where is she buried? Henry Asbury Bullock was wounded in the hip in the Civil War, and then transferred to the Navy, working out of Richmond, Va. One of the boats was the Roanoke---said he at least got 3 meals a day. What kind of boat was the Roanoke---was it a fighting boat or supply boat??? I have searched and searched the files in the Thornton Library, Oxford, NC for above. Barbara B. Elliott---Durham, NC
