I'm especially interested in the ancestry of his wife, Mary "Milly" Pattillo nee Anderson. Lila Niemann Garner Seward County, Nebraska Volunteer, Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness: http://www.raogk.org/ Dear Lila: Do a www.google.com search for *Henry Pattillo* Put the entire name in quotation marks. About the 3rd hit on google will pertain to your man Pattillo. Whether it says anything about his wife, I have not determined. (Ordinarily I hate roll calls. Searchers just plop down names, and do not give the decade, nor even the century when these people were alive. Granville Co. has been around since about 1746 or so, and a lot of people moved on. For instance, my ancestor went to Henderson Co., KY ca 1805, and a lot of other Granville Co. names show up in that county and other Kentucky counties at an even earlier date. Another couple of my families from Granville Co. went to Georgia after the Revolution--cheap (or free) land!!!) Happy hunting! E.W.Wallace who has two distinct lines in Granville Co. but such common names will provoke MUCH mail so I will not join the roll call!! PS If you want to know about some recently published books about colonial and early Federal records of Granville Co., e-mail me back.
