On the Granville http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncgranvi/new.htm Orphans page from 1749-1786, it shows: "George Floyd, 18 years and William Floyd, 14 years, orphans of William Floyd, bound to James Kimball, Sr. ..." That would make George born 1732 and William1736 and the father 20 years +/- prior to that. The earliest dates I have for a George Floyd is 1760 and for a William Floyd is 1743. Can anyone give me more information about these earlier Floyds listed in the Orphans records? I will gladly share what I have; however, some of it is not documented.
