To Peggy Hermann and other NC Oakley Researchers: I am researching the Oakley family but only have one name to work with. Parthenia Oakley married Thomas O'Briant 26 Aug 1833 in Granville Co NC. I am trying to find out if they had a son John Robert O'Briant who was b 10 Nov 1834. More than likely Parthenia died either in childbirth or shortly thereafter as Thomas married Elizabeth Gordon 22 July 1835. I have absolutely nothing else on Parthenia.
