Hello, I am looking for the parents of Joel Rogers who was born in NC abt. 1798. I have found a lot of Rogers in Wake and Granville counties, but have not been able to find who his parents were. He was on the 1820 census for Bibb Co., Alabama, and married Sally Norred there in 1822. They had two sons, Marshall P. and William Rogers while in Alabama. They were in Weakley Co., TN in 1830. He was living next to Job, Jubilee and several other Rogers there. He had two sons James and George W. Rogers while there in TN. They moved to Leake Co., Mississippi and were there from 1835 through 1850. Joel bought property while in Leake Co. and it was near the town of Carthage.
