The Path of the Parrishes by Luther C. Davis, Jr is shown on Ann Woodlief s website. Luther C. Davis, Jr made a mistake on David Parrish m. Judith Holland. He shows them being in Granville Co NC with David dying in 1792. That is the wrong David. My ancestor, David Parrish, was the one that died in Granville Co NC in 1792. His wife was also named Judith but she was not Judith Holland. He sold land in Goochland CO VA abt 1753 and removed to Granville Co NC. He wrote his will in August 1789 and it was proved in the August court session 1792. I have a copy of his will from the NC State Archives and Library. According to the Douglas Register (Goochland CO VA) David Parrish was b in 1737 and Judith Holland was b in 1738. They are shown as marrying there in January 1758 and their first child was born in December 1758 (Martha Holland Parrish). For along time I thought that David and Judith Holland Parrish were my ancestors and I did alot of research on both families. Regards, Bettye Heinrich
