I am looking for marriage records for Jeremiah Reeves and Jane Brazile. The info written about Jeremiah is that he was a member of the Church of England until he heard the minister of the Mar's Fork of Haw River preach. I had thought this was in Halifax County but now believe it is in Granville. Has anyone heard of a church by this name? I haven't been able to find a record in the Historical Baptist Church Records at Wake Forest. There may be records in the NC Archives. Someone said it was Mear's Fork on the Haw River in the next county south. Would appreciate any information anyone might have.
