Does anyone know the mother of Isham AKIN's children? I understand there is a marriage record of Isham and Lereviah Davis, but that was long after his children were born. I know he came from Virginia where he is mentioned in a Chesterfield Co will. He is found in numerous VA records, but I have found no mention of a wife. A deed he signed did not include a waiver of dower rights by a wife. I have identified, with varying degrees of confidence, his parents, grandparents, greatgrandparents, etc., and several generation of his descendants, but not his wife. Tom
