In the event that anyone on this list is interested in the parentage of Samuel Henderson, an early settler of colonial Granville Co., NC, I have info to share. Evidence is strong that Samuel's father was Richard Henderson of Hanover Co. VA ca 1740 and later of Goochland Co. where he obtained a patent of land lying on both sides of Great Guinea Creek. Richard's wife was named Henrietta. He had a brother: Edward Henderson. Later, Henrietta deeded this property to three sons and two daughters. Details furnished upon request. E.W.Wallace E.W.Wallace
