Need help from someone near the Granville, NC court house, or place of their records. Wish to obtain copies of September 4, 1753 record, indictment for fornication of Abigail Shugan Jones, widow of Judge Edward Jones III, decd. Abigail was fined 5 pounds. Would like to know the name of the man who was fined 20 pounds, for fornication with Abigail.
