I am looking for Thomas SMITH, along with his wife, Ava HEFLIN SMITH or children. I think Ava or Amy HEFLIN's parents, Charles Cook and Elizabeth COOKE HEFLIN are buried there. The HEFLIN's lived in the Wilton area. Thomas SMITH was born abt 1800 in Granville Co, NC. I do not have a date for his death. He married Ava/Amy HEFLIN, January 03, 1824, Granville Co, NC. She was born abt 1792 in Fort Creek, Wilton, Granville Co, NC. I am looking for a death date for her, too. I believe that all children were born in Granville Co, NC. They were Elizabeth 'Eliza' Maton SMITH, b. abt 1824, Prudence SMITH, b. abt 1826, Arthur T. SMITH, b. abt 1828, William SMITH, b. abt 1832, Mary SMITH, b. abt 1834, Lucy SMITH, b. abt 1836, Ira W. SMITH, b. abt 1838, Candice 'Candace' SMITH, b. abt 1842. They seemed to have moved to Wake Co, NC abt 1860. His brother, Eldridge SMITH had moved to Wake Co, NC and I am trying to track down the area that they may have been buried. My first look is the HEFLIN CEMETERY since her parents were buried there.
