Dear Debbie, I have a "North Carolina Gazetteer" a dictionary of Tarheel places. We are the Tarheel State. I'm sorry to say that I don't find Turbush Creek in the book. If you are reading the writing in cursive style it is very easy to make an error. If you want me to look up a different spelling, I will be glad to do so. Do you have any idea what part of the State Turbush Creek is in ? Joan Johnson Debbie Pentecost-McNabb wrote: > I am new to the list and am wondering if anyone has a very old map of North > Carolina.
