The Battle of Ramsaur's Mill took place on June 20, 1780, in Lincoln Co., NC. Philip Logan was listed as a soldier in Capt. James Houston's North Carolina Rangers. Am looking for additional information about Capt. Houston's Rangers during the period from May 1780 through June 1780. Mainly trying to find out if this Philip Logan is the same one who served in the 4th Continental Line under Col. Thomas Polk in Capt. Templeton Cole's unit from about April 1777 till January 1780.
