I am seeking information of the Nicholas Fry who is listed on the Carter County, TN census (1830) with a wife Susannah. Their son, Elias, was killed in the Civil War at the Limestone Cove Massacre. Elias was married to Mary "Polly" Street of Bakersville/Buladean, Yancey/Mitchell County, North Carolina. Elias Fry and Mary "Polly" Street Fry had son Lemuel Fry(e). This Fry family had alliances with the Campbells of Carter County (Unicoi) who also moved across Roan Mountain from Tennessee to North Carolina .
