Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/1UB.2ACE/8917 Message Board Post: Got the obituary of my great grandpa James Walter Ray who was born 9-22-1886 in Orange County, North Carolina, and died 1-3-1976 in Catwba County, North Carolina...i didnt have a clue as to whom his parents were till i got the obituary, and then called social security.. social security says that he was born in Orange County, NC, and the obituary says he was a native of Orange County NC.The obituary states that he was a son of the late James Thomas Ray and Sarah Watson Ray... So im assumin that he had brothers or sisters also...i found a 1910 census for the Durham NC Township roll 1108 book 2 page 13 that had a James T Ray, Sarah, Circero and an Archie W. Ray...i am tryin to find out about James Thomas and Sarah Watson now. the only other Sarah i found was a Sarah Ray in Ashe County, NC. i sure would appreciate it if one of you guys could help me find out more about them...i seem to be in a rut at the present moment..thank you, Tanya Ray and Family...
