Jefferson Jennings was the son of Thomas Jennings and Elizabeth Hazel (Settles) Jennings. Jefferson was born Jan. 7, 1885 in Rock Port, Atchison County, Missouri. Jeff and his wife Lorraine or Lorrine lived in Rock Port, Missouri for many years and then moved to St. Joseph, Missouri. After St. Joseph they went in the 1940's to Asheville, North Carolina. They had children Richard Jennings, Doris Jennings, and a step-daughter Pearl. Once they moved to North Carolina the family has lost track of him. If anyone knows if he is buried in North Carolina, please email me. I ask that all of you that have cemetery records please check your records to see if he is in one of the cemeteries you have in North Carolina. Richard and Doris is children were born in Atchison County, Missouri. If anyone knows about a Richard or Doris Jennings please let me know. Jefferson's family is originally from Greeneville, Greene County, Tenne! ssee. I have checked a lot of Tennessee and know one finds him. I would appreciate your help. Thank you very much.
