He was a Toronto Architect and the city's first surveyor/ engineer who founded the largest park in 1855, which became known as "High Park". The couple built their home called Colborne Lodge, nestled amongst the park. There really isn't any information on his wife, Jemima, of where she orginated etc. These people are not relatives of mine, but am interested in facts pertaining to Historical Toronto.
