The Walker's I am trying to locate were from Bladen, Columbus,and Robeson counties in N.C. My gg-grandfather was James Walker nickname Jim, he was married to Polly Purdie-Walker. I was told by my grandfather that they had 21 children. The names of some of the children are Emma, Mary, Claude, Minnie, Hattie, Cora, Johnny or Johnnie, Bessie, Martha, Charlie, and David Walker aka Babe. David was my grandfather he was born in 1898 and died in 1989. I was able to locate the grave sites of my g-grandparents. James (Jim) Walker born 1845 died Oct 3, 1917 and Polly A. Purdie Walker born 1863 and died March 22, 1923. I do not know what happen to the other siblings. I was told that they left the area which is Bladenboro, N.C. and moved to other parts of N.C., Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia and parts unknown. I do not know if these are the Walker's of N.C. that you are trying to research if so please resp! ond. Jan
