Debbie, Try going to RootsWeb, click on North Carolina, and search for it that way. Not sure if this works, but you should be able to find it that way...what county it is in, etc.

I have looked for both spellings Turbush and Tarbush in the N. C. Gazetteer and it isn't there by either spelling.
