    1. [NCGen] Haw River Baptist Church
    2. Does anyone have information on a Baptist Church on Mars' Fork of the Haw River in about 1755/1780? This was before the Revolutionary War. I am looking for Jeremiah Reeves who according to reports lived there and was active in that church. I believe he married during that time and I would think the record of the marriage to Jane Brazile would be in the church records. Can anyone shed any light on this. The Haw River Baptist Church was in Halifax Co. Would appreciate any information or suggestions. Beulah

Surnames: Tucker Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/1UB.2ACE/4904.1.1 Message Board Post: Yes, the Silas Tucker in question is the father od Lorenzo Dow Tucker. My relationship at the time of this posting was a week theory and hinged on the question of the following potential lineage: Silas abt 1775 << Alexander << ...... << Archibald abt 1829. I have since been told that the correct lineage for my line is Archibald to Auldon to Archibald to James to James to Robert to Wm Gerard to John to Wm to Wm to Robert to Wm abt 1473. However, I am still convinced that there is a connection at some point between Silas and my lines. Glad to provide more specific dates, etc if this line interst you.
