    3. I found this pages on another part of the microfilm later, apparently from another minute book with a different clerk; Very difficult to read. Will add them to the file at the Project. [Dec? 1819} Marmaduke N. Jeffreys came into to open Court and acknowledged a Deed in trust to Henry Goodloe & on MOR ----- Ordered that James Baker be appointed overseer of the road from Cedar Creek to the usual stopping place with the usual hands ----- Sterling Anderson vs. Nicholas Murphrey} Appl- Jury impannelled & sworn to wit- Archibald Wiggins, Richd Arendell, Jas Harris, Harbert H Harris, Henry Williams, Isham Fox, John Person, Cllum Moore, Jos J. Alston, William Henry, Turner Bobbill & Edmond Johnes who find all the iSsues in favour of the pltff and aSseSs the be[?] damages to $25.50 &Costs- ----- A Deed in trust from James Harrison to Richard Ward was proven by the oath of Thomas Wynne & on MOR ----- A Deed from Isaac Spikes to Thomas [Wilkinson or Williamson?] was proven in open Court by the oath of [Kenneth? or Smith?] Patterson & on MOR. ----- A Deed from JeSse Webb to Thomas Stokes was proven in open court by the oath of Henry Arrington & on MOR- [end of page] [Dec.? 1819] A Deed in trust from Simon Jeffreys to Mark Cook & others was proven by the oath of James J. Hill one of the subscribing witneSses thereto & onMOR ----- Ordered that Henry Harris be appointed overseer of the Road from Halls + Rands[?] to Odor [or Ader?] Creek in romm of Cordy Ferrell with the usual hands ----- A Deed in trust from Simon Jeffreys to John Collon[?] was proven in open Court by the oath of Williamson Gatewood &on MOR ----- John York adm. of Wilson Hammonds decd returned his acct current with said Estate on oath- the Court are of opinion that the adm be allowed 5 pct on the whole amount of the Estate &on MOR- ----- Sherwood Saunders adm or Vincent Saunders decd. returnd his acct curnt on oath &on MOR ----- Order'd tha the sherriff summon the following persons to serve as Jurors at our next Court (to wit) Micajah Yarbrough Everit Pierce, Britain Hall, John Jackson Sen., Bennett Perry, Robert Mitton jun[?], Wm. Yarbrough was proven in open Court by the oath of David Leives[?] & on MOR- ----- James Strother Guardn. to Norflet Harris, Henderson Harris, & John Harris orphans of John Harris decd retd. his acct for 1819 & on MOR- ----- On appreciation It it ordered that Pollard[?] Brickell be allowed to relarl[?] Shrels[?] for same year in the town of Lewisburg[?] ----- [end of page] [March 1820] Sarah Patterson came into Court & acknowledged a Deed to Benjamin F. Hawkins & on MOR ----- Administration upon the Estate of Margaret Blue is committed to Daniel Blue who entered into Bond in the sum of $2000- with Toliver Ferrill & William D. Freeman his securities ----- Seven Justices being on the Bench It ordered that Joshua Johnson be appointed Constable in Captn Jackson district who entered into Bond with Emerch[?] Tunstall & Harbert Harris his securities ----- Ordered that Wiprint[?] Patterson be allowed a licence to Keep a tavern for one year seven Justices being on the Bench- ----- A Bill of Sale from Jno J.
