My g-g-g-grandfather Spencer Brown married Mary(Polly) Debnam in Franklin Co. NC and then moved to Maury Co., TN and later to Williamson Co., TN where he died. They married 13 Dec. 1827 or 1821. The copy of the marriage bond was hard to read. I have been unable to find the parents of this couple. I have been told that Spencer's mother was a Foster and he had a sister named Fanny.
