Hi all, I am looking for a Shadrack (Shadrach or Shadreck) Bridges who was in or born in the Franklin County area. I know he was there in 1800 according to the North Carolina Census. He was born between 1760 and 1770. He was married to Winnifred (numerous spellings) Wiggins. I believe she is the daughter of Sampson and Amy Wiggins. Shadrack, according to his grandson's diary, Ira C. Bridges, has a brother named Benjamin who was in the Revolutionary War. Benjamin, I do not know anything else about him. Shadrack had at least 6 children, John, Elizabeth, Archibald, Middy, Winnifred, and James Bridges. Three of the children, John, Elizabeth, and Archibald were born in North Carolina. Middy and Winnifred were born in Tennessee. James, I do not know anything about him.
