Searching James Drake who received a land grant in 1776 in Franklin. There is only a Ga. bible record that said he married a Mary Green from NC. I do know her name was Mary. James & Mary left for Ga. about 1800 or before. He sold his property in Franklin in 1798. He had a son Etheldred and he died young. Archibald went to Ga. with them. He states on the 1850 Oglethorpe Ga. Census that he was born in NC in 1776. Looking for any information on this family. Thanks, Lisa
