They stated that Cullen Jones dec'd had mortgaged to Benj. Atkinson 220 acres joining Green Hill, Allen ..?.., and William Andrews, that sd Cullen had applied to William Andrews (then called William Andrews Jr.) to lend him $200 for the mortgage. They stated that sd Cullen left 1 brother Joel Jones and 5 sisters. Berthine Grant who married James Grant, Chany Benton who married Jeremiah Benton, Penny Jones, Elizabeth who married James Ferrel, Clary who married Lemuel Alford, and Thomas, Robert, Patsey, Nancy and Sugar Jones, the children of Allen Jones sd Cullen's brother. They state that sd Andrews now claims the land as his own.
