Regards, Jim crosslin@lasercom.net ------------ extracted from Franklin County court minutes -------------- Minutes of December Court 1815 It appearing to the satisfaction of the court that Christopher Moses, a free boy of color, is claimed by Nicholas Murphy, not having been bound to him, and that said boy is badly clothed, and otherwise ill treated - It is ordered that said boy be placed in the care of Green Hill, until next Court, and that notice issue to said Murphy, to appear at next Court, and shew cause why said boy may not be removed from his service.
