Hi I'm new to this list. My brick wall is John Dickson (abt 1769-1836), whose daughter Laney married Daniel Buie and lived on their farm in Lemon Springs/Sanford. They are listed on the 1850 census for Mooroe County. A direct descendant of Lany and Daniel tells me she has tracked John to Franklin County, where she lost him. I don'tknow what year that was, but I know that he went on to Tennessee, where he died in Gibson County in 1836. Is there anyone on the list who knows anything about this family?
