    3. A notice was published in the Raleigh newspaper, The North Carolina Star, on 29 Nov 1814 advertising a school. The notice reads as follows: ENGLISH SCHOOL The subscriber will commence teaching the different branches of English Education on the 3rd day of january next, on the plantation where Mr. Jessey cob formerly resided, 5 miles to the eastward of Louis burg. the situation pleasant and healthy. the subscriber assures parents & guardians that the most serious attention will be paid to the scholars. A few boarders can be accommodated - terms of board and tuition, sixty dollars per annum. Signed ROBERT PARSLEY Franklin County, Nov. 29, 1814 Does anyone have information on this school?
