Edward Freeman, David Jefferys, William Christmas, James Perry, Isaac Hudson, Willsby Self, Job Self, Sabon Smart & Hardy Hunt. ----- Ordered that James Jones list of Taxable property consisting of 125 Acres land & 1 pole be aded[sic] to the list for Christmas's District ----- Ordered that Richard Conyers's list of Taxable property consisting of 200 Acres of land and five polls be added to the list for Denby's District ----- Ordered the Administrator of Thomas Jones Deceased sale so much of the real estate arg[?] shall be sufficient to satisfy the debts due from the said Estate ----- Ordered that the Executors of William Denson deceast Sell the remaining part of the perishable estate of William Denson debt be so much thereof or shall be Sufficient to Satisfy the debts due from the same ----- Ordered that Thomas Porch and Orphan about 8 years in age be bound to Reubin Ransom till he grows[?] to lawfull age & that he learn him to read & write & the Planters burings[?] ----- Ordered the following persons be a Jury to Lay of a road from Franklin Courthouse to the road heading from Granville Old Courthouse to Simmsford acroSs Linches Creek at the Old Crewvy[?] near Col Seawiles & Near Where a large path leaves the sd. Present Henry Hill Benjamin Seawell and Thomas Arendell Esquires ----- Grand Jury |to wit| William Christmas foreman Joshua Richards, David Jeffreys, James Murphy, John Richards, Sabon Smart, MoSes Stallions, Edward[?] Freeman, Isaac Hudson, Charles Cook, Willby Self, William Freeman, Jacob Waddler, James Perry, John Gay, John Pinnell and Nicholas Mruphy. ----- On Oath of Osborne Jeffreys Esqr. that an Order of Court in his favour for thirty shillings for repairing the river bridge has been by him either lost or mislaid. Ordered therefore that the Clerks make of another order for the Same. ----- Ordered that John Robinson deceast Sale Clerk of Franklin County Court be allowed the sum of Twenty pounds species for his Extra services for the year 1785. ----- Ordered that Benjamin Seawell Esq. & late Sheriff of Franklin County be allowed the sum of Twenty pounds species for his Extra Services for the year 1783. ----- Ordered that administration on the Estate of Nelson[?] Pope deceast be granted to William Cook. he entered into Bond in the sum of Two[?] Hundred pounds with William Green Esquire his security ----- An Inventory of the estate of Joseph McWilliams[?] was returned on Oath by Wm.
