    3. I am getting bombarded with viruses today. If you are going to open email attachments you aren't expecting, please remove me from your address book first. Our IT guys say that the only way you can get this virus is to open an email attachment. After it gets on your computer, it automatically sends itself to people in your address book. Please remove my email from your computer until this blows over and don't open attachments from anyone for a while. Thanks Mark A. Murphy

    1. [NCFRANKL] Marriage lookup
    2. Can someone please do a marriage lookup for me? I would greatly appreciate any help. Ollie Estelle Goodwin (of Apex, NC) was first married to John Faulkner about 1898 or 1899...in Raleigh/Wake Co/ or Apex or perhaps in Louisburg/Franklin County. John died about 1903 or 1904, and she married in probably 1904 John's brother, Ollie Taylor Faulkner...probably in Franklin. They lived at Ingleside. Again, any help would be tremendously appreciated. Allyne Holland Granddaughter of Ollie Goodwin Faulkner and Ollie Taylor Faulkner

    3. I know this is not Geneo., but actually it does in a way: Madeline Murray O'Hare's atheist group has been granted a Federal hearing on the subject by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in Washington DC. Their petition , number 2493, would ultimately pave the way to stop the reading of the gospel of Our Lord and Savior, on the airwaves of America. The group is also campaigning to remove all Christmas programs and Christmas carols from public schools and also remove programs like "Touched by an Angel" and any other programs using the word "God" off Radio and TV. We should not sit back and let this happen again. Our forefather's came to this country for religious freedom. Little be little this freedom is being taken away from us. I just thought I'd share this info with all who are interested. Joan

    3. Is the Cyprus Creek Community in Franklin or Granville County. Perhaps there was a Land Grant or Headwright for a Peter Soloman. He is last mentioned in a court case in 1785. He was ordered to pay the debt of one George Soloman. He also is mentioned as using hands to clear the roads there. He died between 1785 and 31/Jan/1795 how could I locate his will. Can anyone tell me if he maybe listed in a vestry book or on a Tithe list.
