Hello! I am trying to find information on the Evans family from Tarboro, NC. My great grandfather, John Cornelius Evans was from Tarboro. He was married to Nancy Lewis (formerly a Ruffin from the Evelynton Plantation in Virginia), and bore a son by the name of Percy Cornelius Evans on September 29, 1904 (d. November 1986).
