Another Elizabeth Allen was my gg grandmother. She was born about 1765 in Edgecombe (or Pitt), was married 1787 (possibly in Franklin, NC) to George Avery. They moved to Wilson County, TN where George died 1853 and Elizabeth died 1857. I am still trying to learn the parents of this Elizabeth. She was related to the Suggs and I'm guessing that her mother was a Sugg. Any information on my Elizabeth Allen or on the Sugg/Allen connection would be very much appreciated. Arvil Hancock
