I am searching for dates, birth, death, and marriage for Joseph SIMS, Jr. (c.1714-1795) who married Charity Barnes. They lived in Edgecombe Co., NC. Their children were Banjamin, Garry, Patty (Patience?), Sarah, Senath, Shadrack, Simon, William, and Zelia. Their son William SIMS (1760-1827) married Edith (Ede) Horn. They remained in Edgecombe Co. Their children were Jesse, William Thomas, Mary (Polly), Sarah, Leroy, Jacob, Charity, and Patience. Jesse SIMS married Mary Ann Holland Evans (maybe also Sikes) before moving to Lawrence Co.,TN. William Thomas SIMS(b. about1808) married Rebecca Harriet Gray before moving to Sumter Co, AL. Jesse and wife Mary Ann moved c.1853 to Leon Co., TX, where their descendents still live.
