Jacob Daniel 1805-1880 married Sarah Barnes 1800-1867 Sarah Barnes was born 1800 and was the daughter of James W. Barnes of Edgecombe County according to the Black Creek Book page 295. I am seeking the parents and family of James W. Barnes. He would have been born prior to 1800. I am wondering if he is a descendant of Brittain Barnes of Edgecombe County.
