Hello All, If you have not looked at this site yet, http://www.rootsweb.com/~nccatawb/ and you're searching NC, you really ought to go look..... especially go click on the left column where it says county formation and take a look at the great maps from 1700-1912 that Derick Hartshorn has put together (thanks Derick). This has been a huge help to me in trying to understand just where some of my ancestors were from census to census. I wish all states had such maps available on line. Audrey Orlando, FL
