Greetings, I have received a large detailed map of Edgecombe (Thanks Traci! it's wonderful!) where major landholders are actually written on the map at their respective properties. I found a W.T. Knight written where my ancestors were living in 1870 and 1880. The trouble is that the W.T. Knight I found was there in 1905. I need to close this gap. I would like some familial info. on W. T. Knight of Sparta Township, Edgecombe Co. (1900) so I can go on to do a will/estate records search. I would like to trace his family back to 1870.
