Greetings list, I am interested in locating "deeds of gift" for Willis Knight, 1846. I am researching some slaves we willed to his wife and children. He willed some slaves to his daughter Nancy Knight Mayo (husband Kinchen Mayo) who was living in Tallahatchie Co. MS at the time. I am particularly interested in what happened to these slaves.
